If you are offered a volunteering role with North Lanarkshire Council we will ask you to complete a criminal convictions form. A conviction will not necessarily exclude you from volunteering but we are legally obliged to ask you to provide this information. For most volunteering roles PVG/Disclosure Scotland checks will need to be completed - we will support you with this.

We require two written references for all applicants. Please give the names and contact details of two referees who can testify to your reliability and trustworthiness. They must not be related to you.

We contact referees by email whenever possible as it's quicker and cheaper than post, so please include referees' email addresses if possible. Please include at least one contact method for both referees
